Skills: Satoshi has a green thumb like you wouldn't believe. Give him seeds and some dirt, and he can grow just about anything. He is also exceptionally talented at making junk into something useful. He's like the MacGyver of trash. Give him a problem, and he can probably build his way out of it.

He's also very skilled with his words. Since he prefers to talk through problems, instead of resorting to violence, he's gotten pretty good at diffusing situations and coming to a diplomatic solution.

Crime: First things first, you have to know Satoshi's past to understand his crime. See, his parents were part of the hippie craze many decades back. They were all about free love, peace on earth, taking care of nature, that kind of stuff. This continued on for many years, and it was the kind of life Satoshi was born into. For the first five years of his life, he didn't have a set home he went to every night. He lived on the road, in his parents' Volkswagen van, and spent most of his time following along as his parents went to music festivals, celebrations, and so forth.

When he was five-ish, though, his parents started getting involved in some of the darker sides of the hippie movement. They ended up joining a militant animal rights group, and they were involved in several raids on animal testing facilities before they were finally arrested. Satoshi, now seven, was shipped off to live with his grandparents, and his parents were only allowed to visit him with someone else present. They visited on and off for a few years, but contact was cut off when Satoshi was nine, as his parents were involved in a bombing that killed several people. Satoshi's parents were labeled eco-terrorists, and he never saw them again.

But that didn't mean that he had forgotten them. Even while living with his grandparents, Satoshi still embraced the lifestyle he knew. He was into the whole 'peace and love' part of what his parents had taught him, and he tried his best to spread that same message. But as he grew, he started to become frustrated. Even if he tried to make nice with everyone, there were still people who did what he considered to be 'bad things,' and he was at a loss as to what to do. This all built up until his sophomore year of high school, when he was told they were going to dissect hamsters. He broke into the science lab late at night, freed the hamsters, and spray painted "no more animal crulty" (sic) on the walls. Of course, he was caught immediately: nobody else cared about the animals that much, so it was pretty obvious who had done it. Plus they had caught him on camera.

The official reason for Satoshi being sent to Bullworth is that he had weed on him when he was arrested for his actions in the science lab, but the real reason is that they want to monitor him. Since his parents are eco-terrorists, they are worried about him following in their footsteps, and they either want to set him straight or throw him in jail before he can blow anything up.

Also, Satoshi is two years behind in his schooling because he wasn't put in school until he lived with his grandparents. If he keeps with his schooling, he should graduate when he is 20.
